PROSPERO'S CO-FOUNDERS
Michael Lame, the president and co-founder of PROSPERO, is a management
consultant and organizational trainer who has worked with executives, managers,
supervisors, and front-line employees in dozens of companies across the United
States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He has consulted with companies
on strategic direction and focus, facilitated strategic planning sessions, designed
and conducted programs in managerial effectiveness, and coached executives. A
lifelong reader and lover of Shakespeare, Michael has served as an adjunct
professor at Columbia University’s Business School, where he taught a course on
Shakespeare and Leadership in the Executive MBA program. He has also taught
at UCLA’s Graduate School of Management and has lectured on management
topics to corporate executives at retreats and conferences.
Michael's corporate clients for training and consulting have included Allied
Container Lines, Anadigics, Bell Labs, Campbell's Soup, Canadian Liquid Air,
Caterpillar, CII Technologies, Farmers Insurance Group, MasTec,
Master-Halco, Mitsubishi, Northrop Grumman, Perkins Engines, Procter &
Gamble, Rover, the Rouse Company, Senior Flexonics, Sony, Watson
Pharmaceuticals.

A graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz and of Hastings Law
School in San Francisco, Michael is an attorney by profession. He has been a
member of the State Bar of California since 1978. Prior to working with
corporations, he designed and led programs in the fields of personal
transformation, communication and conflict resolution.
The recipient of numerous awards, honors, and fellowships, in 1999 Tina
received the Massachusetts
Commonwealth Award, the state’s highest
honor for excellence in the arts. She has delivered lectures and keynote
addresses at over 30 colleges and universities, and she holds honorary
doctorates of letters from Emerson College, Trinity College, and the
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She is the subject of the WGBH

In addition to acting and directing, she has taught at Radcliffe, Harvard, and
Columbia. Together with John Whitney, Professor Emeritus at the Columbia
Business School, Tina authored
Power Plays: Shakespeare’s Lessons in
Leadership and Management
, which was published by Simon and Schuster
in June, 2000. Tina co-founded PROSPERO, LLC and co-led several of its
initial programs.
Tina Packer, the founder, president and artistic director of Shakespeare &
Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, was trained at England’s Royal
Academy of Dramatic Art and served as an Associate Artist with the Royal
Shakespeare Company.
